T-Mobile subsidiary carrier, MetroPCS has announced the new LG Optimus F6 to its line of available smartphone offered to their customers. MetroPCS is now offering this entry-level smartphone to its customers for the price of $199 off-contract, with any of its qualifying monthly pre-paid plans.
The Optimus F6 is a fully featured 4G smartphone that is compatible with both 4G LTE and HSPA+ connectivity on T-Mobile’s nationwide 4G and growing LTE network. The handset comes equipped with a 4.5-inch IPS capacitive touchscreen display with a 960 x 540 pixel resolution and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 2.
LG’s Optimus F6 is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core Qualcomm MSM8930 Snapdragon processor, an Adreno 305 graphics and 1GB of RAM. The entry-level device only comes with 4GB of internal storage, however LG made up for that with a microSD card slot that will accept cards up 32GB storage capacity. There are dual cameras on the device plus it has connectivity options including WiFi, HSPA+, 4G LTE connectivity, all ran by the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system.
