In addition to the Motion Computing F5t Windows-Powered tablet, the company also announced its new C5t Rugged Tablet as well. Like the F5t, the C5t is also powered by Intel’s 3rd gen Core (Ivy Bridge) processor, they share the same ruggedized design with magnesium-alloy internal frame for protection and meeting MIL-STD-810G and IP-54 standards.
The also have the same built-in handle, they are both lightweight and thin but while the Motion F5t was designed for field work, the C5t on the other hand is intended for the healthcare industry. All other features of the C5t Rugged Tablet is the same as the specifications found on the Motion F5t.
It gets a 10.4-inch capacitive touchscreen display with support for dual input, two-finger touch and digitizer pen, and gets Gorilla Glass for durability. The C5t also sport Fingerprint Reader, integrated RFID module and optional Smart Card Reader for security authentication and Barcode Scanner for daa acquistion. The tablets provides up to 6 hours of battery life and supports hot-swap battery for uninterrupted productivity.
The tablet is now available and starts at the price of $2236 which is the same as the Motion F5t.
