Motorola may be one of the first companies to announce an Android Wear Smartwatch, however other similar device from competitors such as LG and Samsung are already available for purchase, while the Moto 360 is still not available.
However, this is expected to change soon as Motorola plans to hold an event on September 4th where the company is expected to unveil its latest smartphones and launch the Moto 360. Even though it hasn’t been launched as yet, a product page for the smartwatch has already been posted online, complete with pricing information and other details.
According to the Best Buy Page online, the watch comes equipped with a 1.5-inch pixel display with a 320 x 290 resolution, backlit LCD touchscreen, Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity, it has a pedometer, heart rate monitor, and vibration feature for alarms.
Like other devices using the Google Android Wear software, it supports voice commands, it features a stainless steel and plastic case, the display protected by Gorilla Glass and a waterproof design that keep the device protect submerge up to 3.3 feet of water for up to a half hour. Best Buy listed the product with “Coming Soon” for the price of $249.99, right in the range of competitors.
