Motorola ELECTRIFY M 4G LTE Smartphone headed to U.S. Cellular

U.S. Cellular just announced that they will be offering the ELECTRIFY M 4G LTE Smartphone to their customers. It features similar specification as the DROID RAZR M for Verizon Wireless, comes without aircraft-grade aluminum frame and Kevlar fibre but it still comes with a splash guard coating.

Motorola ELECTRIFY MThe Motorola ELECTRIFY M 4G LTE Smartphone sports a 4.3-inch virtually borderless edge-to-edge touchscreen display with 540×960 qHD resolution, and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass. The ELECTRIFY M is boosted by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM. Its 8 Megapixel main camera has auto focus, LED flash, is capable of Full HD 1080p video recording and HDR shooting; and there is a 1.3 Megapixel VGA front-facing camera for video chat.

Other specifications includes Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/AGPS, and WiFi connectivity, it supports CDMA 800/1900/1700 and LTE Bands 2/4/5/12 mobile networks and runs the Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich and is upgradeable to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.

The handset comes with 8GB of internal storage, you can get the phone from U.S. Cellular starting 8 November at $99.99 after $100 mail-in rebate in markets where U.S. Cellular offers 4G LTE service and elsewhere at $149.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate.
