Moto E4 and Moto E4 Plus (Moto E and E Plus 4th Gen) Launched. Affordable devices with mid-range specifications!
Motorola has launched two new affordable smartphones from its Moto E family. The Moto E4 and Moto E4 Plus are now available on selected markets for $129.99 and $179.99, respectively.
In terms of aesthetics, both devices looks very similar with a metal body design with curve glass on top. Moto E4 comes equipped with a 5-inch display while the E4 Plus gets a slightly larger 5.5-inch, hence why it’s referred to as “Plus”.
The Moto E4 Smartphone
Moto E4 comes equipped with a 5-inch 720p display with 2.5D curved glass. Under the hood it packs the power of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 425 with 2GB of RAM. Motorola only made the handset available with 16GB of onboard storage but can be expanded with a microSD card.
The phone also gets a quick charge feature and a 2800mAh battery to keep the lights on. Motorola added an 8MP camera sensor on the rear with LED flash and a 5MP selfie camera with LED Flash up front.
The Moto E4 Plus Smartphone
Moto E4 Plus is only .5-inch bigger than its sibling. The E4 Plus comes equipped with a 5.5-inch display with 720p resolution. It’s powered by the very same Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 with 2GB of RAM.
However, the E4 Plus is available with either 16GB or 32GB onboard storage plus microSD card slot for expansion as well.
The larger device gets a 13MP camera sensor on the rear and a 5MP selfie shooter on the front with LED flash. The “Plus ” variant also gets a larger 5000mAh battery. Motorola also gave the E4 Plus added security feature, a secured fingerprint sensor and a water-repellent coating.
The Moto E4 will be available in the colors of Fine Gold and Black, while the E4 Plus will be available in Oxford Blue, Iron Grey and Gold.
