Motorola Mobility has decided the extend the range of Xoom Android Tablets but they haven’t made the announcement as yet. Two new models were recently pictured, they are the 8.2-inch Xoom 2 Media Edition and the 10.1-inch Xoom 2 tablets. Both models are said to be running the Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS and they are expected to arrive on selected markets later this year or if not they will arrive early 2012, both models have been codenamed ‘Fleming’ which sounds pretty interesting.
As for their designs, both models features rounded edges which is accompanied by a slim profile, they both utilizes Gorila Glass for protection and they also pack a 5-megapixel camera on the rear of each devices and a front-facing camera for video chats. There is no word on how powerful or how lame the processor is but they come with a mini USB and Mini HDMI port for playback on larger screens.
