MSI has once again launched yet another mini PC that they are calling the MSI Wind Box DC100. This new series of Mini PC is based on the latest AMD Brazos platform E-450 dual-core processor and A50M chipset which promises to deliver outstanding energy-saving capabilities.
It comes with a compact casing which measures 191.8 mm (W) × 150.93 mm (H) × 34.94 mm (D) and weighs in at 830 grams, it features a white exterior and quiet operation, it is very quiet thanks to MSI’s noise reduction technology which keeps the device’s noise down to under 22 dB when in standby mode. Under the hood, there is AMD’s Fusion E-450 1.65GHz APU with Radeon HD 6320 graphics card and according to the company it also has a low power consumption at only 40W.
The core specifications of the Wind Box DC100 mini PC includes 4GB of RAM, 320GB of Hard Drive storage plus other essentials such as WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Gigabit Ethernet, six USB 2.0 ports, a 6-in-one card reader and output options for VGA and HDMI. There has been no pricing information confirmed for the Wind Box DC100 but we do know that it comes pre-installed with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit and MSI softwares which includes Smart Media Link and Smart Sync.
