MSI outs the new U160MX Atom-Powered Netbook from its Wind-Series on the market. The new MSI Wind U160MX comes with a 10-inch LCD display with LED-backlit and a 1024×600 pixel resolution. It is powered by Intel’s Atom N455 processor which is backed by MSI’s TDE technology. The U160MX features an ultra-slim chasis with silk black pattern and a anti-fingerprint coating.
Along with the Intel Atom N455 processor, potential users can expect to find a GMA 3150 integrated graphics card, storage options of a 250GB or 320GB hard drive and up to 2GB of DDR3 RAM. Other technology from the company includes its ECO Engine power-saving technology that delivers up to 8.5 hours of operation time, MSI’s i-Charger techology, plus expect features such as WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR, three USB 2.0 ports, a 2-in-1 card reader, an integrated webcam, Chicklet keyboard and also comes pre-loaded with the iEasy Face biometric software for extra security. No pricing information or release date has been announced for the new Wind U160MX.
