MSI has unveiled its newest large-screen model, the X-Slim X600 Pro Notebook. It is the latest member of the MSI X-Slim Series and features a 15.6-inch glossy LCD display with a LED backlit. It packs the power of the Intel CULV ultra-thin, power-saving processor platform. There is a Core 2 Duo Processor, ATi Mobility Radeon HD 4330 Graphics with 512MB DDR2 RAM, up to 640GB Hard Drive and up to 4GB of RAM.
The X-Slim X600 Pro features the latest ultra-thin lithium polymer battery. When paired with Intel’s ultra-thin, power-saving dual processor platform architecture, it gives ultra-long battery life. There is also MSI’s exclusive ECO Engine technology which allows the user to select from 5 different power management modes: Gaming, Movie, Presentation, Document, and Turbo Battery to automatically adjust display brightness, power, sleep settings, and processor performance settings. Other specs we look for when buying a laptop are: built-in WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, optional Bluetooth connectivity, a 2-in-1 card reader, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, DVD Super-Multi / Blu-Ray Drive and a HDMI port for streaming videos to a HDTV.
