In certain jobs like what I do it is important and imperative that the colors you see on your screen is what you get when the project is printed. This is a concern to Graphic Designers, Photographers and even regular users who just love to see quality. You may select a deep red and when you print you see something looking like pink just because you monitor didn’t display the right colors. Well here is something for you.
NEC has announced the P221W 22-inch Monitor for color critical use. The Monitor features a 1680 x 1050 resolution with contrast ratio 1000:1, this LCD display was made specially for this kinda of stuff, it covers 96% of the AdobeRGB color gamut and has internal programmable 10-bit lookup tables so you won’t get the best gaming experience from it if you were planning to get it for gaming uses.
The P221W will be available in December for $636.90.
