NEC introduces the new eco-friendly, cost-effective desktop LCD monitor, the AccuSync AS231WM. This new 23-inch monitor is compliant with Energy Star 5.0, TCO 5.0 and EPEAT Silver, and consumes 50% less energy compared to regular monitors of the same size. It is a 23-inch LCD display which features a 1920×1080 Full HD resolution and offers other specs including a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250cd/m2 brightness, and 5ms response time.
The AccuSync AS231WM offers ECO mode and comes with a carbon footprint meter, which allows users to easily track carbon savings. It consumes only 0.4W power in Power Savings Mode and Power Off. The AccuSync AS231WM has an integrated, space-saving, down-firing multimedia speakers with headphone jack. It uses Ambix dual-input technology which allows digital/analog compatibility with upgraded video cards and software, as well as connections to two systems. It also has tilt adjustability, touch-integration capabilities and connectivity for VGA and DVI-D with HDCP inputs.
The AccuSync AS231WM will begin shipping in May for an estimated street price of $269.
