NEC Japan has just announced the coming of its new LifeTouch Android-based Cloud Communicator which runs the Google Android OS. It comes with the Android Eclair and powered by an ARM Cortex A8 Processor along with a few specs that you would expect from a device running Android.
It comes with a 7-inch Touchscreen display which is backed by capacitive touch technology, it also incorporates a 3-Megapixel Camera, it has WiFi, GPS and Bluetooth connectivity and a SD card slot for expansion. We would have to say that the 7-inch display makes it ideal for entertainment purposes on the go plus there is also an e-book reader and a built-in browser for web surfing as well. So far we know that the LifeTouch Cloud Communicator will be released on the Japanese Market, there is no word if it will ever reach the shore of the United States.
