NEC unveils two new Desktop Monitors in its MultiSync Series, they are the MultiSync EA192M which features a 19-inch LED-backlit LCD display and the MultiSync E201W that gets a 20-inch widescreen LED-backlit display. Both monitors comes with with an adjustable ergonomic stand that reaches a maximum height of 110mm and gives the ability to pivot, tilt and swivel. The difference between both monitors is that the MultiSync EA192M offers a 1280×1024 resolution with other features including a 250cd/m2 brightness, 5ms response time, 5:4 aspect ratio and a dynamic contrast ratio of 25,000:1 while the MultiSync E201W delivers a 1600×900 resolution and the same specs listed for the EA192M.
Both monitors also shares similar features such as their EPEAT Silver certification, they are compliant with ENERGY STAR 5.0 and TCO 5.0 standards and offers connectivity for DVI-D, DisplayPort and VGA. There are other specs on the 19-inch MultiSync EA192M that you won’t find on the 20-inch E201W, which includes integrated speakers and a headphone jack.
Both the MultiSync EA192M and E201W LED-backlit Monitors will be released in November and will be priced at $199 and $239, respectively.
