NEC yesterday announced its NP4100W wide-aspect professional Installation Projector, designed for wide-format screens where there is high ambient light in a Large Area.
The NP4100W Projector has the capability to display a high of brightness at 5500 ANSI lumens and has a 2100:1 contrast ratio. It also has features like a 1280 x 800 native resolution with a 16:10 aspect ratio, BrilliantColor which increases system brightness and color saturation, AutoSense that automatically syncs with any computer signal and DynamicBlack which improves the black level of video for further detail in dark scenes.
There is also a 6-segment color wheel for enhanced color reproduction, plus a ECO mode that can extend lamp life by up to 25%. The NEC NP4100W Installation Projector supports DVI-D with HDCP inputs, RCA, s-video, component, 15-pin and BNC inputs. The NP4100W will begin shipping in September 2009 with an estimated street price of $5,499.
