NEC was also at the InfoComm 2010 where they rolled out the latest product in their V-series, its the new V461 Full HD LCD for Digital Signage. It is ideal for use in the retail and restaurant markets, as well as indoor venues, training facilities and corporate boardrooms. The V461 gets a 46-inch LCD display and offers features such as a 1920×1080 Full HD resolution, 450cd/m2 brightness, 3000:1 contrast ratio and support for both landscape and portrait orientation.
The HD LCD also features public-display-grade panel, which offers additional protection against image retention and advanced cooling fan-based technology. It also comes with inputs for HDMI, DVI-D, 5 BNC (RGBHV, DVD/HD or composite video), 15-pin D-sub in/out, S-Video and composite video in/out connectors. It is scheduled for launch soon and is expected to carry a price tag that says $1199
