NetZero Wireless, a subsidiary of United Online has announced the launch of NetZero 4G Mobile Broadband Service with two new equipment including the NetZero 4G HotSpot and 4G Stick. United Online kicks off its 4G affordable and protected internet service yesterday in over 80 cities nationwide, including New York, L.A, Chicago, Houston, Washington D.C. and Miami.
NetZero 4G Mobile Broadband data plans starts at just $9.95 per month and customers aren’t required to sign a contract to get the service. Users get the option to upgrade their plan at anytime and each plan promises download speeds up to 10MBps and upload speeds of up to 1.5MBps.
All data plans requires the purchase of one of the two affordable 4G devices launched with the service: the NetZero 4G HotSpot or NetZero 4G Stick. The 4G HotSpot device features a 150 foot range and supports up to eight WiFi-enabled devices simultaneously while the 4G Stick takes the form of a USB Flash Drive and will only deliver the service to a single computer via its USB port. Both device are also available right now, the NetZero 4G HotSpot goes for $99.95 and the NetZero 4G Stick costs $49.95.
