Nikon just introduced a new compact long zoom digital camera, the Coolpix L610. The new L610 comes equipped with a 14x optical zoom NIKKOR ED glass lens with 25mm wide angle, it has a 16.1-Megapixel Backside Illuminated CMOS sensor plus other specs such as an optical VR image stabilization to produce blur-free and clear images.
The CoolPix L610 not only capture quality images but it also records Full HD 1920x1080p videos at 30fps in MPEG4 AVC H.264 format and it also offers an HDMI mini output for showing images and videos on a larger screen than the come that comes built-on the camera.
The camera features the Easy Auto mode that automatically selects from six Scene Modes, including Portrait, Landscape, Night Portrait, Night landscape, Close-up and Backlighting, to deliver best quality image.
The camera doesn’t comes with a charger but it is powered by two AA batteries. Nikon plans to release the new camera in September in the colors of black, silver and red for $249.95.
