Nikon has announced an entry-level digital SLR camera, its new D3100 DSLR. It features a 14.2 Megapixel Nikon DX-format CMOS image sensor, a new EXPEED 2 image processing engine, ISO 100-3200 up to a maximum of 12800, there is a Guide Mode, an in-camera guidance that shows you step-by-step how to change camera settings and a 3-inch LCD display.
The Nikon D3100 also supports Live View, it also automatically analyzes the scene and selects the appropriate shooting mode from Portrait, Landscape, Close up or Night portrait. The Nikon D3100 offers up to 1920×1080 Full HD video recording and an AF-F (full-time servo AF) focus mode for movie recording.
