Nikon D5100 Digital Camera
Consumers in the United States who have been craving some swivel action for the Nikon D5100 that was announced a few months back, you can go by the nearest Best Buy Store or a few clicks online to pre-order for the price of $900 for Body Only. The Nikon D5100 has hit shelves a few days early of its actual launch date which is April 21st. However there are alternatives to Best Buy’s price as Amazon and Adorama already started taking pre-orders for $100 less than Best Buy. Its accompanying ME-1 external mic won’t be here until its original release date so until then customers who pre-ordered will just have to wait for its accessories to arrive. Looking back in the archives, it was realised that we actually missed the introduction of the D5100 DSLR so here are a few noteworthy specifications. There is a 16.2-Megapixel CMOS sensor, there is a 3-inch LCD Monitor that can be positioned to various angles by its swivel, it also records Full 1080p HD movies with full time autofocus, pop up flash and in camera HDR (High Dynamic Range).
