Nikon announced the launch of its 3D-ready Photo Frame called the Nikon NF-300i. It was designed for use with Nikon’s my Picturetown 3D service that will converts 2D images into 3D images which can then be shared or streamed on the 3D Digital Photo Frame.
The Nikon NF-300i sports a 7.2-inch LCD display and lenticular lenses for its 3D display. The frame also comes with built-in Ethernet Lan, WiFi and runs the Android 2.1 OS. Users will also have the option to download 2D and 3D images using Nikon’s my Picture 3D service. It can showcase 2D and 3D images in a pixel resolution of 800×600.
The Nikon NF-300i will be sold as part of the my Picturetown 3D services, the service is priced at 1995 yen per month or 19,950 yen per year.
