[CES 2013] Nikon is at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, and the digital camera makers just announced a new point & shoot camera from their Coolpix series called the Coolpix S6500. It could be considered as a high-end point and shoot camera, as it features a 16-megapixel backside illuminated (BSI) CMOS sensor and a 12x optical zoom allowing the device to capture high quality images as well as Full HD video.
Another great feature of the Coolpix S6500 includes WiFi connectivity, it enables the camera’s user to transfer images and recorded HD videos directly to a compatible smart device using the pre-installed Wireless Mobile Utility application. The camera also has five Glamour Retouch effects for giving your photos a makeup section before printing or sharing them with friends via social media.
The Coolpix S6500 is the ideal camera for beginners who are interested in digital photography, it is expected to hit various markets later this month in the color options of silver, black, red, and orange, going at $219.95 per unit. It has already been listed in Amazon product line up for this year!
