Nintendo has announced that it will be offering consumers the chance to be among the first in the world to purchase the new Wii U gaming console at midnight on November 18.
Nintendo of America will be hosting Nintendo World in the New York Rockefeller Plaza and according to the president and COO Reggie Fils-aime, he will be present at the event and will sell the first console to the first customer in line.
Nintendo will also be offering premium items while supplies last during the event, they are also warning that consoles are in limited supply and are being sold on a first come, first served basis. The console will be available as a basic unit for the price of $299.99, plus a deluxe version with more storage capacity, accessories and a Nintendo Land video game will sell for $349.99.
The Nintendo World Event will be held on Saturday, November 17 from 6p.m. until midnight with the console officially going up for sale on Sunday, November 18.
