Nissho Electronics out of Japan has launched its new BDL5231V3D 52-inch 3D HDTV that was made by Dimenco. It is a 3D HDTV that doesn’t require the use of 3D glasses for viewing, it features a 52-inch 3D Display with a 1920x1080p resolution that doesn’t requires a pair of 3D glasses to view 3D images. It also supports 2D and 3D modes and has the ability to auto switch between 2D and 3D viewing. It is powered by Dimenco’s rendering core for 2D/3D display processing and packs a few advances such as a 700cd/m2 brightness, a 2000:1 contrast ratio and a 8ms response time. The Dimenco BDL5231V3D also supports 2D plus depth in 3D mode which converts 28 different views and transform them into 3D. Nissho has started selling the Dimenco BDL5231V3D in Japan with a whopping price tag of 1.70 million yen which is approximately $20,000 when converted into US dollars, pretty steep isn’t it.
