Nokia has unveiled its fourth Windows Phone at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. The Lumia 610 is a low-end model smartphone that is aimed at first time smartphone buyers and customers who want an affordable option. It is equipped with a 3.7-inch capacitive touchscreen display with 800×480 pixel resolution, powered by an 800MHz Qualcomm processor, only 256MB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage but lacks a microSD slot.
On the back, there’s a 5-megapixel camera with features such as autofocus and LED flash but will only record VGA videos at 30fps, it runs the Windows Phone 7.5 and has Nokia service applications including Nokia Maps, Drive 2.0, Nokia’s Public Transport, has Facebook integration and Xbox Live Hub. The Lumia 610 measures 119 x 62 x 12 mm and weighs 131.5g with its 1300mAh battery intact.
It supports HSUPA CAT 6, 5.76 Mbps and HSDPA CAT 7, 7.2 Mbps networks, features USB 2.0 port, Bluetooth 2.1 +EDR, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity and has a 3.5 mm AHJ connector. The Nokia Lumia 610 will be released on the international market in the colors of Cyan, White, Black and Magenta.
