Nokia has once again launch another Smartphone, the new Nokia N8 is the first Symbian^3-based phone and runs the Symbian^3 OS. The handset gets a 3.5-inch 360×640 OLED capacitive touchscreen and a whopping 12 Megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics and Xenon flash. It is powered by an ARM11 680 MHz processor with 256MB RAM, 512MB ROM and a 3D Graphics HW Accelerator with OpenGL-ES 2.0.
Thanks to its 12 megapixel camera, the N8 has the capability to record 1280×720p HD videos at 25 fps and can also use its HDMI video output for preview on a HDTV. The N8 supports Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi connectivity, a micro USB 2.0 connector and a 3.5mm jack. There is support for GPS, A-GPS, comes with Ovi Maps 3.0, supports the playback of H.264, MPEG-4, VC-1, H.263, Real Video 10 video playback, Flash Lite 4.0 supported, it has 16GB internal memory and has a microSD/SDHC slot for expansion.
The Nokia N8 will be available in Q3 2010 for both WCDMA/HSPA 3.5G and quad-band GSM/EDGE networks with a price tag that says 370 euro.
