NVIDIA just announced two new graphics processor, the GeForce GTX 480 and GeForce GTX 470, which are the first products of the company’s Fermi series. These Fermi GPUs are NVIDIA 3D Vision Surround ready and feature 3-way SLI Technology, they features PhysX technology, Interactive Ray Tracing, CUDA™ Technology, 32x Anti-aliasing and PureVideo HD technology.
They also uses PCI Express 2.0 bus along with support for Dual Link DVI with up to 2560×1600 resolution and HDMI 1.4 with xvYCC, Deep color and 7.1 digital surround sound. The GeForce GTX 480 supports a a 700MHz graphics clock speed and 1848 memory clock speed while the GeForce GTX 470 has 448MHz graphics clock and 1674 memory clock. Expect to see the GeForce GTX 480 and GeForce GTX 470 out in the middle of April 2010.
