O2, a prominent mobile carrier in the UK has announced that it will start offering Wi-Fi connectivity to its customers on London Underground. The service is already being offered by Virgin Media, EE and Vodafone which are all prominent carriers in the UK.
O2 unveiled that its customers will now be able to access Wi-Fi on the underground for free, if the customer already uses the carrier’s free WiFi service then you they will automatically be able to access the service on the underground without having to sign up for a new account.
Virgin Media and O2 recently signed a deal for the service on the underground, plus Virgin have announced that it will be rolling out the service to an additional 12 stations.
