Olympus has announced the launch of its newest long-zoom digital camera that goes by the name Stylus SH-50. The new point-and-shoot digital camera comes equipped with advanced DSLR-grade image stabilization mechanism making it a high-end point-and-shoot.
The Olympus Stylus SH-50 comes with other features such as a 16 Megapixel BSI CMOS image sensor, TruePic VI image processing engine and features Olympus’s iHS (Intelligent, High-Sensitivity and High-Speed) technologies. It has 5-Axis Video Stabilization and 3-Axis Image Stabilization, making the SH-50 the world’s first compact camera to include such technologies, which ensure less image blur when shooting in all conditions.
It comes with a 24x optical zoom lens with 25mm wide angle lens and offers 48x Super Resolution Zoom. The SH-50 comes with a 3-inch touchscreen with support for Touch Focus, plus it was designed with an HDMI port for connectivity to a much larger screen. It comes in the colors of black and white this march for the price of $299.99.
