Olympus just dropped this new point and shoot in an announcement, it is called the Olympus SZ-11. This new Point-and-Shoot device comes with a 14-megapixel sensor and is also accompanied by an impressive 20x Optical Zoom, it offers support for SDHC and SDXC cards as well as Eye-Fi card which are SDHC memory cards with built-in wireless LAN functionality.
The Olympus SZ-11 comes equipped with a DUAL IS using a CCD-shift image stabilization mechanism and high-sensitivity image capturing, it records HD movies in MPEG-4 AVC or H.264 with a simple push of its dedicated Movie REC button and recordings are available in 1280×720-pixel high-definition quality.
The SZ-11 features an expanded range of 10 Magic Filters, Pop, Pin Hole, Fisheye, Drawing, Soft Focus, Punk, Watercolor and Sparkle, there is also an array of functions as 3D Photos, Beauty Mode, Beauty Make, and Pet Mode. The SZ-11 14-Megapixel Digital Camera comes with a 3-inch display for previewing captured images and will hit stores in Japan this August for the price of 30,000 Yen which is approximately $386.
