In addition to the SZ-11 Camera, Olympus Japan also announced the new Olympus VG-145 which is also a 14-megapixel point-and-shoot digital camera which is also scheduled for a release date in August. The VG-145 also comes with a few advanced features that are similar to the SZ-11, there features includes a 3-inch LCD display for previewing captured images, it records HD movies but in 720p and stores in AVI format and it also utilizes Olympus Magic Filters.
The Olympus VG-145 Series features a compact body that measures only 19.3mm thin and was constructed from Aluminum. It also comes with other specifications which includes a 26mm wide angle lens with 5X optical Zoom as well as a few advanced shooting functions.
It comes with a USB charging cable which indicates that it comes with a rechargeable battery meaning there is no need to worry about change disposable batteries. The new Olympus VG-145 will be available on August 11, in the colors of Champagne Gold, Red and Orange for the price of approximately 15,000 Yen.
