Onkyo Japan has announced its new entry-level Notebook PC dubbed the R425. It comes equipped with a 14-inch LCD LED-backlit display that delivers a 1366×768 resolution, it gets the power of an Intel Core i5-2410M Processor from the Intel Sandy Bridge Series, up to 500GB of Hard Drive storage and 4GB of RAM.
Other noteable specs available with the new Onkyo R425 includes wireless internet connectivity with support for WiFi 802.11b/g/n, there is a Blu-ray drive, USB 2.0 ports, an HDMI output and a SDXC memory card reader. The new Onkyo R425 is expected to hit shelves in Japan this august with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit pre-installed for the price of 79,800 Yen which is approximately $1022 in the US.
