Optoma has launched its new pocket-sized projector, the PK120 which utilizes the DLP Pico imaging technology. The Optoma PK120 features an 18 ANSI lumens brightness, a 2000:1 contrast ratio and has the ability to produce 640×360 widescreen images of up to 70-inch.
The device comes with 2GB of internal storage and it also uses microSD card via its built-in slot for direct playback of stored movies, photos and office files without the need for a computer. It also comes with built-in 0.5×2 speakers so there is no need for an addition audio output device, it offers VGA, AV inputs and a VGA cable adapter. The Optoma PK120 Pico Projector is presently available and goes for the price of $249 per unit.
