Panasonic has announced of its plans to release two new Honeycomb-based enterprise slates during the winter season, they are the BizPad Series which includes a 7-inch and a 10.1-inch model. Both devices are ruggedized so you don’t have to worry about them getting damaged by the elements, it is waterproof, it comes with protection from drops and dust.
Both new tablets are powered by a 1GHz Dual-core ARM Cortex-A9 processor, it comes with 16GB of onboard storage, 1GB of RAM, it has NFC capabilities using its IC Card reader, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth connectivity. The 10.1-inch model of the BizPad is considered the superior when it comes to which has the higher resolution with its WXGA 1280 x 800 IPS capacitive display and the 7-inch model only gets a WSVGA 1024 x 600 resistive LCD display.
The specifications continues with a 5-megapixel camera on the rear of the 10.1-inch model and the latter getting a 1.3-megapixel camera. They both come with optional 3G connectivity and they both also runs the Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS, no pricing information has been found.
