Panasonic LUMIX DMC-FP5 and DMC-FP7 Digital Cameras with Touchscreen

Panasonic has added some new Digital Cameras to their LUMIX-Series which are being called the LUMIX DMC-FP5 and DMC-FP7. Both new cameras features a touchscreen display but of different dimensions, the LUMIX DMC-FP5 gets a 3-inch touchscreen LCD display with a 3:2 aspect ratio while the LUMIX DMC-FP7 gets a 3.5-inch touchscreen LCD with a 16:9 aspect ratio.

They also have other features in common such as Smart Touch Screens which allows the user to enable Touch Auto Focus (AF), Touch Zoom, Touch Shutter and Intelligent Scene Selector by a simple touch of the screen, they also features Panasonic’s Intelligent Auto (iA) mode which offers OIS image stabilization, Intelligent ISO control, face detection, Intelligent Scene Selector, AF Tracking and Sonic Speed Focus AF for capturing of high-quality images at a fast pace.

Both cameras also comes with the ability to record 720p HD videos, they offer a thin 4x optical zoom lens with folded optics, Venus Engine VI image processor, the LUMIX DMC-FP5 gets a 14.1-Megapixel Sensor and the LUMIX DMC-FP7 gets a 16.1-Megapixel Sensor.

There has been no word on the pricing but you can expect to see the DMC-FP5 soon in the colors of blue, black, pink and silver while the DMC-FP7 sports blue, black and red colors.
