After showing off a number of new digicam at the CES 2010, Panasonic is at it again with new cameras, one of the latest is the Lumix DMC-TS2 Digital Camera. It is Panasonic’s second rugged camera designed for outdoor use, it is a 14.1 megapixel camera which had a 2.7-inch LCD display, a 28mm wide-angle LEICA DC VARIO ELMAR lens with 4.6x optical zoom (Intelligent Zoom up to 6x), Venus Engine HD II image processor, Sonic Speed AF and the iA (Intelligent Auto) mode that includes POWER O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilizer), Face Recognition, and Intelligent Scene Selector.
Being rugged means the Lumix DMC-TS2 is waterproof to 33 feet (10m), shockproof to 10 feet (2m), freezeproof to 14-degree F (-10-degree C) and dustproof. It also records HD videos and supports SDXC cards, look out for the TS2 in the colors of silver, blue, orange and yellow.
