The Panasonic LUMIX DMC-ZS20 comes equipped with a 14.1-Megapixel High Sensitivity MOS sensor, it has built-in GPS functions for geotagging photos with latitude and longitude of where the picture was taken as well as other detailed information such as Country, Town etc. On the back of the camera, there’s a 3-inch Smart Touch LCD touchscreen display for easy operation that allows for Touch AF, Touch Zoom or Touch Shutter.
It also packs a few artistic effects including, Panorama model for taking 360-degree shots, Miniature Effect mode that the peripherals are defocused, and the Creative Retouch mode with six filters and Auto Retouch function that automatically adjusts contrast and brightness for a clearer, more natural image. Other than its ability to capture high-quality images, the LUMIX DMC-ZS20 also records 1920×1080/60p videos in AVCHD format.
In addition to the ZS20, Panasonic will also be releasing the LUMIX DMC-ZS15 that packs a 12.1 Megapixel sensor, a 16x optical zoom LEICA DC VARIO-ELMAR lens with 24mm wide angle and a 3-inch LCD display. Both the LUMIX ZS20 and ZS15 will be launched in March for the price of $349.99 and $279.99, respectively.
