Panasonic plans to release in early September its new RP-SDAB and RP-SDUB Series UHS-I rated high-speed SDHC and SDXC memory cards.
The new series was designed to deliver high data transfer speeds plus the cards are also ruggedized with IPX7 certification meaning it is waterproof and will protect itself from being water damaged at up to 1 meter submerged for 30 minutes.
The memory cards are also X-ray resistant, heat resistant to withstand -25°C – +85°C temperature range, and impact-resistant to survive in drops. They cards are also anti-magnetic and comes in the storage capacities of 8GB, 16GB and 32GB.
They are based on MLC flash memory and they offer 95MB/s read and 80MB/s write speeds, while the RP-SDUB adds 64GB SDXC model and delivers 90MB/s read and 45MB/s write performance.
