Panasonic has unveiled another of its ruggedized tablets from the Toughbook series, the Toughbook CF-H2 tablet which is aimed at users that does active field work. The new CF-H2 tablet comes equipped with a 10.1-inch transflective plus LCD display with dual touch support and circular Polarizer.
The new Toughbook CF-H2 is powered by an Intel Core i5-3427U vPro processor which clocks at 1.8GHz, it has 3MB of Intel Smart Cache, Intel HD 3000 graphics for enhanced multimedia capabilities plus it is MIL-STD 810G and IP65 certified meaning it is shock, vibration, water and dust resistant. It features a lightweight form factor that weighs in at only 1.58kg.
Other specifications of the Toughbook CF-H2 includes an optional Smartcard reader, an integrated barcode reader options, an optional camera, optional GPS navigation, optional RFID, USB 3.0 ports, LAN and Serial Port depending on the model and dual hot swappable batteries providing up to 7 hours battery life.
