Pentax introduces the new Pentax K-01 digital camera with interchangeable lens. The camera was designed by Marc Newson, it features a timeless retro form factor with a yellow exterior. The K-01 comes with a full array of advanced functions and user-friendly features.
The K-01 features a durable aluminum frame construction, it is compatible with 25+ million PENTAX K-mount lenses, equipped with a 16-Megapixel APS-C sized CMOS sensor, it has Sensor-shift PENTAX Shake, Dust Reduction system, an ISO sensitivity that ranges from 100 to 25600 for noise-free images in any lighting condition, focus peaking mode which delivers fast and accurate manual focusing, a 3-inch LCD display and the ability to record HD videos as well.
Pentax Ricoh plans to release the new durable camera in March 2012, it will be priced at $749.95 for the (body only) and $899.95 for the lens kit that includes the PENTAX-DA 40mm F2.8 XS interchangeable lens which claims to be the worlds thinnest.
