Philips has added a new 3D-capable HDTV which is the Cinema 21:9 Gold Series. The Cinema 21:9 Gold Series gets a 50-inch Full HD LED Display that is 3D compatible and features an advanced 3D polarized screen which requires a pair of passive 3D glasses to view. The Philips Cinema 21:9 Gold series HDTV is powered by Philips’ Pixel Precise HD picture processing engine and also comes with standard features such as a 2ms response time, two-sided Ambilight Spectra 2, real-time 2D to 3D conversion, integrated WiFi connectivity and the ability to record USB storage devices.
Philips also thought of the viewer while the new Cinema 21:9 Gold Series was in its development stages and they added the ability to adjust the 3D image depth of the TV for your preferred viewing. Even thought it comes in a class white and black chassis, Philips has added some modern functions such as its ability to be connected to the internet using Philips’ Smart TV services which enables the viewer to log into their Facebook or Twitter accounts, stream music as well as photos and videos using a Smartphone, Tablet or Laptop.
There is also a Multiview function that allows the user to access multiple content at once, there is a special 3D gaming mode which allows each player simultaneously sees his or her view expand to fill the entire TV. Philips has not announced any pricing information or any date of availability as yet.
