Philips Net TV

Philips Net TV
Get ready to enjoy all the wonders of the internet through a TV screen with the Philips Net Tv Series. The Philips Net TV comes in two different series, the 8000, the 9000 and the recently announced Cinema 21:9 which all includes built in internet access connections.

The Net Tv Series will allow users to browse the net using just their remote, with some websites and services optimized specially for the Net TVs. These websites includes but are not limited to YouTube, TomTom, eBay, MeteoGroup, Funspot, MyAlbum and Netlog. The company is planned to have more websites added to the TV real soon but are worrying that users may have problems reading the text from far away. They are also thinking of including more localised services for non-English speakers in places such as France, Germany and The Netherlands. The Net TV 8000 requires a wired connection to browse the world wide web while the 9000 series and the Cinema 21:9 comes with integrated WiFi Connectivity.

Expect to see the new Net TVs out by April.
