Review: Plantronics BackBeat Go Bluetooth Stereo Headset

Plantronics BackBeat Go Bluetooth Stereo Headset
The Plantronics BackBeat Go is a compact wireless stereo earphone that comes with a built-in microphone and utilizes Bluetooth v2.1 technology to ensure you have a tangle-free headphone all the time. It’s safe to say that Plantronics designed the BackBeat Go wireless stereo headset for people on the go that requires a headset on which they can have a conversation and right afterwards, listen to their favorite music.

Even though it wasn’t designed to connect to an audio source using an AUX jack, it features a flat cable that connect both speakers meaning you will never have an hassle un-tangling cables, there’s also an in-line remote with an built-in microphone that delivers quality audio to the listener on the other end.

The BackBeat Go features an attractive design and a comfortable fit, it comes with silicon ear-tips that provides a seal in your ear blocking out background and unwanted sounds, plus it also comes with optional wings that will help to keep the device in place but didn’t make much of a different for me.

Overall, the Plantronics BackBeat Go keeps Bluetooth connections with devices locked, its compact and lightweight. It has an attractive design and its an affordable option for those who wants a headset and earbuds in one. The BackBeat Go is available from Amazon and goes for the price of $74.12.

The Bad: The LED indicator on the headset that indicates when the battery is low or when the device is on is kinda tiny. Another problem I found was that it didn’t last for more than 4.5 hours.

The Good: It compact meaning it will fit in any of your pockets, Bluetooth connectivity mean your smartphone or iPod can be out of sight at all times and it delivers pretty decent sound quality.
