Hong Kong-Based Company, MNC Pocketbook International has announced its new Pocketbook A10 Android Tablet/e-Reader which should be a competitor to the Kobo and Kindle. The Pocketbook A10 comes with a 10.1-inch Touchscreen LCD display with a 1024×768 pixel resolution, it is powered by a 1GHz TI OMAP 3621 processor, it has 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage and an integrated SD card slot that will allow the user to expand its storage capacity up to 64GB.
Other specifications of the Pocketbook A10 includes a front-facing 2-Megapixel camera for those who wants to make video calls, it comes with WiFi connectivity plus there will also be a 3G version for users who don’t want to depend on WiFi hotspots while on the go for connectivity.
The Pocketbook A10 comes with few buttons on the device which will be used for e-Book reading, plus it comes pre-loaded with a stock ebook app but it will also have access to Android Market. The Pocketbook A10 is expected to be launched initially on the Europe and Russia market by the end of October but there’s no word when it will hit the shores of the United States.
