Porsche has announced that it will be unveiling a new member of its 911 family in the coming week. Its the Porsche 911 Targa which will be debuted at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit next week.
The company that makes excellent sports cars and SUVs decided to leave us in suspense, no information on the new device was revealed, however they did hint that the new design will echo the designs of the original 911 Targa, launched back in 1965.
According to the company, the 911 Targa will feature the distinctive Targa bar of the original, it will have a removable roof section, as well as a wrap around rear window. The remake of the classic should also feature modern technology, and as the company stated it will be a “true modern classic.”
The new 911 Targa will be unveiled in a press conference next Monday the 13th of January at 11:45 AM EST, plus they plan to show off their new Porsche Cayenna Platinum Edition and the Porsche Macan in Detroit.
