QiGi introduces its new Smartbook U1000 Mobile Internet Device in China. The QiGi Smartbook U1000 is the company’s latest Mobile Internet Device that features a 5-inch Touchscreen display with a 800×480 resolution. It is powered by a Marvell PXA310 624MHz processor, 128MB ROM and 256MB of RAM.
The device comes with a built-in TF card of 4GB and has the capability to support microSD cards up to 32GB in size. It sports a 3.2 megapixel camera along with other specifications such as WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0, a GPS receiver, Direct 3D engine and G-Sensor plus support for quad-band GSM/EDGE network. The QiGi U1000 measures 11.8mm thick and weighs only 187g with its 1900mAh battery that powers the device for up to 150 hours of standby and 200 minutes of web browsing. The QiGi Smartbook also supports the reading of PDF, TXT document, WORD, EXCEL and PowerPoint file formats, AVI, ASF, WMV, Mpeg4, 3GP video files and MIDI, MP3, WMA, WAV, AMR Audio Files.
The QiGi Smartbook U1000 runs the Windows Mobile 6.1 OS and will cost a price of 2280 Chinese Yuan
