Razer has unveiled its new high-performance gaming hardware, the next generation of the world’s first true gaming laptop, the Razer Blade. It comes equipped with a 17.3-inch high-definition display and an ultra-slim form factor that measures only 0.88 inches thick, less than half the thickness of traditional gaming laptops and weighs only 6.6 LBs.
The new next generation Razer Blade will not be cheap where pre-orders started on September 2nd for the price of $2,499 and the company plans to start shipping to their customers in North America on Sept. 30th, 2012. It is powered by an Intel Core i7 processor, it has 8GB of RAM, a high-performance NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M 2GB graphics processor, it comes equipped with a multi-award-winning Switchblade User Interface (UI), 500GB of hard drive and 64GB SATA III SSD.
Other specifications of the Razer Blade includes optimized speakers, a trio of USB 3.0 ports with charging capabilities that works even when the Razer Blade is switched off, it has an HD webcam and a full-size keyboard.
