Popular Gaming Gear maker, Razer has stepped out of their comfort zone of making PC gaming accessories into making the devices themselves. The new Razer Blade Gaming Notebook is the initial results of the company’s new venture, it will stand out being the first for the company but will even stand out more for its ultra-thin design. It features a design that measures only 0.88-inch thin and it comes with a large 17.3-inch LCD display for the user to get the best experience from their new Gaming Laptop.
Specifications of the new device includes a 2.8GHz Core i7-2640M processor, a GeForce GT 555M graphics card with 2GB of dedicated memory, there is a 320GB hard drive, a 1920×1080 LED-backlit display, a full-sized backlit keyboard, Switchblade User Interface which allows the user to know more about in-game commands, and a 800×480 LCD screen that can display in-game info or it can also be used as a multi-touch panel.
There are a few connectivity options which includes WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, one USB 3.0 port, a HDMI output, an integrated HD webcam and an integrated 60Wh battery for a few hours of playtime. According to Razer, the Blade is the world’s first true gaming laptop and it is scheduled for release during Q4 for a cost of $2800.
