Motorola launched the Moto G Smartphone last year which was aimed at budget-conscious customers who wanted a fairly good smartphone at an affordable price. Since it’s launch the device has been available in the US from various sources, including Republic Wireless which recently announced that will soon be listing the device in their product line up.
The carrier plans to start offers the Moto G, both the 8GB and 16GB models to their customers. The devices will be offered off contract, the 8GB version goes for $149 price tag while the 16GB Moto G will cost $179.
The Moto G device comes equipped with a 4.5-inch display with a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution, powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM. It has a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera and a 5-megapixel camera on the rear side. The handset comes with an 2,070 mAh battery and runs Android 4.4 KitKat pre-installed out of the box.
