Research in Motion has officially announced its new Blackberry Bold 9900 and Bold 9930 Smartphones. They are the company’s first Smartphones to run the new Blackberry OS 7 that comes with faster browsing, voice activated searches and Blackberry Balance, a solution that enables the user to separate their personal content from work data on the device. RIM finally decided to start making their specifications standard with the market by addind a 2.8-inch capacitive touchscreen with a 640×480 resolution to both devices, they both get a 5-megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording functions, there is an optical trackpad, a QWERTY keypad and up to 8GB of onboard storage.
Users should have a better experience with its 1.2GHz Snapdragon Processor, 768MB of RAM and NFC (Near Field Communication) has been added as well. There is also WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1 Connectivity, the device gets a proximity sensor, an accelerometer, a digital compass and GPS Navigation. Both handsets are basically the same expect that the Bold 9900 supports HSPA+ while the Bold 9930 supports CDMA/EV-DO Rev .A.
