RIM’s BlackBerry 10 Gets US Security Clearance

Blackberry 10 OSResearch In Motion has plans to launch their new Blackberry 10 operating system in early 2013. So far the Canadian smartphone manufacturer has obtained security clearance for their BlackBerry 10 OS from the US government, and they have received security certifications for the FIPS 140-2 certification signals for the US and Canadian governments.

We also found some of the pictures of some of the BlackBerry 10 devices that will be available at launch. With the new security clearance Blackberry 10 Smartphones will be able to be used by government employees in secure government workplaces. RIM is also trying to obtain security clearance for BlackBerry 10 from the UK government.
